Let's talk packaging...
Looking for strong, low cost postal tubes to ship prints, artwork, drawings or posters? Our cardboard postal tubes are made in the UK from sustainable recycled fibres, spiral wound with a water-based adhesive, giving noticeably better crush resistance than most alternatives on the market.

- Shipping large format prints sized A3, A2, A1, A0 and larger
- Safely posting architectural drawings and engineering schematics
- Shipping large display maps, where unsightly creases ruin the aesthetic
- Shipping wallpaper, curtains, blinds and interior decor
- UV proof, so ideal for print archiving and storage
- Free end caps included as standard on all round tubes
Paper size fitment guide
Use these tables to match your print to the right tube. As a rule of thumb, choose a tube comfortably longer than the rolled width of your print so it loads and seals without forcing.

Round or triangular?
Both protect a rolled print well. The difference is what happens either side of the post.
Round tubes are the classic choice. Spiral wound for consistent wall strength along the full length, available in the widest range of sizes including A0 and B0, and supplied with free end caps.
Triangular tubes arrive flat packed and fold up when you need them. That brings three practical advantages:
- Far less storage space on site. Flat packed stock takes a fraction of the shelf space of pre-formed round tubes, which matters when space at the packing bench is tight.
- Lower storage costs. Less warehouse space per unit held means less money tied up in storage.
- Lower inbound shipping costs. Flat packed means far more units per pallet, so the delivery cost per tube is lower.
On top of that, the triangular shape does not roll off benches or conveyors, and a full length peel and seal strip closes the tube without tape.
Why our cardboard postal tubes
Shipped direct from the manufacturer and made in the UK to a very high standard. The spiral-wound construction gives consistent wall strength along the full length of the tube, which is what prevents the crushing and denting that ruins a print in transit.
Made from recycled cardboard fibres and wound with a water-based adhesive, they are easier to recycle than tubes using solvent-based glues.
Custom printed postal tubes
Every tube in this range can be custom printed with your branding, and we can manufacture custom sizes to your exact specification. Ideal if you are shipping premium prints or want the tube itself to carry your brand. Talk to us about custom printed tubes.
Postal tube FAQs
What size postal tube do I need for an A1 poster?
An A1 print rolls down to 594mm, so our 640mm tubes are the right length. Choose the 50.8mm diameter for a single rolled print, 76mm if the paper is heavier or you are rolling more than one, and 100mm for several prints together. The 640mm triangular tube also takes A1.
Do your postal tubes come with end caps?
Yes. End caps are included as standard on all our round cardboard postal tubes at no extra cost. Triangular tubes do not need caps, as the end flaps fold over and seal with the peel and seal strip.
Are cardboard postal tubes recyclable?
Yes. Ours are made from recycled cardboard fibres and wound with a water-based adhesive, so they can be recycled with standard cardboard.
What is the largest postal tube you sell?
Our biggest round tube is the B0 at 1046 x 100mm, suitable for oversized architectural drawings and large format prints. The largest triangular tube is the A0 at 950 x 142 x 142mm.
Can I get postal tubes printed with my logo?
Yes. We offer custom printed postal tubes and can also produce bespoke sizes. Get in touch to discuss quantities and artwork.
What is the difference between a postal tube and a mailing tube?
Nothing. Postal tubes, mailing tubes, poster tubes and shipping tubes are all names for the same product.
